Global Warming is being driven by political hype and not sceince. I remember 20 years ago that news reports stated that because of global warming the earth should be destroyed by now, but the human race is still here, o well.
The only "David Suzuki" that I know is a geneticist-- give me a link. The green was in reference to "The Hulk," (autotuner1)you were the one talking about your anger. I have read numerous articles on global warming and the sceince is not there to prove it that we humans are creating the warming of the planet. There are so many factors to the weather and world ecosystems that climatologist just do not understand yet. I read an story that even though the rainforest are being cut down, there were forest starting to grow in other parts of the world. The world has a way of taking care of it's self. Now I am not saying that we have no responsiblity to taking care of the earth, we need to do out part. I am just stating that there is more politics in global warming then sceince.
While there may not be the science, as yet, to show exactly what's doing it, global warming IS a fact. The ocean temperatures are rising, the glaciers are melting and I believe that we once figured that at the rate the ocean is rising due to ice melt, our lovely home will be under water in 150 short years. Perhaps this is simply the natural cycle of the earth, as scientists have pointed to other cyclical events of this nature, but if there's even a CHANCE that we're part of the warming problem, we ought to face up to that. Dickering about what's causing it doesn't help us plan for the reality of global warming's existence.
