Looks like the evolutionary missing link has been found between Homo Sapiens and bipedal hominids.

Well here are a couple of my thoughts:

First, there is nothing about this fossil that suggests it is anything other than an extinct, lemur-like creature. How does this link me to an ape?

Second, as I taught Andy science this year a fossil can never show evolution. Fossils are unchanging records of dead organisms. Evolution is an alleged process of change in live organisms. Fossils show “evolution” only if one presupposes evolution, then uses that presupposed belief to interpret the fossil.

Third, similarities can never show evolution. If two organisms have similar structures, the only thing it proves is that the two have similar structures. You have to presuppose evolution to say that the similarities are due to evolution rather than design.

Fourth - I saw this on a website that the remarkable preservation is a hallmark of rapid burial. You have to get to human burial to see something that’s this complete.” Even the contents of Ida’s stomach were preserved. While the researchers believe Ida sunk to the bottom of a lake and was buried, this preservation is more consistent with a catastrophic flood.

Fifth, if evolution were true, there would be real transitional forms. Instead, the best “missing links” evolutionists can come up with are very similar to organisms we see today, usually with the exception of minor differences.

Just some of my thoughts and I guess some other's thoughts.

I do not know alot about the fossil record, but I have watch some shows on PBS, and I took anthropology class a number of years ago.

1. This is 47 million years ago (which you do not belive, since you think the earth is 6000 years old) homo sapians did not appear till about 200,000 - 250,000 years ago, supported by DNA evidence. So this is way up the tree.

2. That is not true, have you heard of a Velociraptor? This dinosaur was covered with feathers, showing a transformation. What about an Indohyus,Pakicetus,Ambulocetus, Rodhocetus,Dorudon, and Maiacetus? (http://blogs.discovermagazine.com/loom/2009/02/03/the-backward-whale/) Plus, by your own agrument if you have a presupposed belief that contradicts the fossil evidence, it does not matter what I affirm because your life is based on this affirmation and you cannot afford any other reality.

I really do not know about 3,4,and 5.
