If you bought a house you could not afford it does not matter because Obama is going to refinace you and lower the principle of your morgage-- YEA; change. Obama said the for to long people have been living irresponsible and living beypond their means, but the Democratic Party = Obama, is spending money that we do not have. Were is the responsiblity???? And the Republicans have not been much better, most of them are to concerned about getting relected and being invited to DC parties, and not living by conservative principals that put them there in the first place. As far as I am concerned McCain is a half Democrat.

Why? What is the cap and trade tax and how does it screw us?
It is a statistical fact that revenues go up when tax rates go down, particularly with capital gains. Obama was asked by one debate moderator,why he would be for raising capital gains taxes when the stats show that lowering them is more productive to revenues. His answer was classic class warfare lingo; it just isn't fair for the rich to have all that money. So just as Stalin and Castro had their farmers planting crops in seasons when things wouldn't grow, because they knew better, just so, this current crop of meddlers would rather bankrupt the country on the argument that they are making the world more fair, and that somehow it is worth the price. Is there a better definition of insanity than this?

Don't assume that this will be the case. There would likely be additional taxes or similar levied against the upper-incomes to subsidize the extra cost for low or no income households. There would have to be. Did you know that it is possible to get a $4000 tax refund or more even without paying any income tax? It's called the earned income credit. This could just be increased to cover the additional cost of energy and goods. The "rich" people would have to pay more for their own energy and goods, plus an additional bonus to help the poor as well. I hope you didn't want to retire or save for kid's college.
