Just who in the hell do these people think that they are? I thought Republican's stood for less government, less government intrusions in people's lives, more freedom from government, "NOT BIG BROTHER." It makes me not want to be a Repulican any more. Yea, that is what this country needs a DNA database to track law abiding citizens -- NOT!!!! Idiots.

What's the big deal? The gov't has my fingerprints - they've issued me a Social Security number - they know where I live. I am a law abiding citizen. I still have nothing to hide. So the gov't has a strand of my hair - so what - I have too much other stuff to worry about than the gov't knowing what I am made of. They are not in charge of my life.
They are not in charge of my life
If you believe that, you are sadly deluded. They just haven't shown you yet how easily they can fuck it up.
The point is that the government can not be trusted with this information. What if you’re DNA was shared with your health insurance company, by some government employee who gave out this information by accident (you know this kind of stuff happens all the time) and because your DNA indicated 80% chance of cancer, your insurance was cancelled. The insurance company thought the risk was too high to insure you, and there are a million other scenarios the way this information could be used against people. The government has to much information on people now, they do not need any more, especially DNA.
Nice language Lily - how attractive.
