My belief would put it all around 6-8000 years old. I believe God spoke it and it happened.

That answer requires no proof, how convient.

Actually - I was answering the question for the earth - but you didn't ask that? So to answer your question - I don't know. I know it is ever expanding and God holds it all in His hand - He knows where each star is and has named it.

Your answer will have no verifiable proof either. It all built on whatever a person's presumption is. There is no written record by an eye witness - no one was there.

I guess since sun had burn 1/2 of its life fuel, that is no way to verify it's age; since we know rate of consumption, that's all wrong. Since we can see 13.7 billion years of light, I guess as a joke God just put it there, so that means nothing. The rate of cooling of the rocks and sediment; which we know means nothing; God is just fooling and playing a joke and bypassing the laws that He created just to test you, not me.

So, when God created everything - did he make it brand new? For example a dog - was it a new-born puppy - one second old? Or was it 3-year adult dog newly created? If it was an adult - that means it only would live only 12 more of its 15 years(ave life)- so looking at the dog 2 days later one would say - that dog is 3 years old, but in actuality it is only 2 days old.

So when God created everything - did everything start from life day #1? I would guess not. Since no one was there - it all comes down to our presumptions.

I presume there is a God and I am trying to live like it.

You don't believe there is a personal God - so everything you write about is from that presumption. But for someone who doesn't believe in a personal God and religion, you spend an awful lot of time blogging about something you don't believe in.

You know, after my life is over and it turns out you were right - I will still have no regrets about anything and everything that I have done, lived, thought, acted and believed. But, if what I believe turns out to be right - I would hate to be in your shoes and some of the tears that God will wipe from my face will be the sadness I feel for you!
